  1. We are unable to connect to the content delivery network (CDN) that delivers the video stream? What does it mean?

    1. a hub is like a power-strip, should allow to connect multiple ports, just like USB hub. But when a packet collision happens it happens in all ports, which is why these days no one uses hub. But it is used in networking lab (even my home) for research to capture packets. With a switch never packet collision will happen, since switch does store and forward in all ports. But a broadcast will be sent out in all ports with both hub and switch. I mean L2 broadcast (mac-ID) frame. But with router it never does l2 broadcasts as well no collisions. But ofcourse a switch is not replacement for router, a router is not replacement for switch. Router is used for IP layer context. So a router works in L3, a switch in L2 and a hub purely in physical layer alone (which is L1). I hope it is clear :) BTW, I started a fresh new channel, perhaps you can watch my youtube videos in it: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCESk3ORdKJ1iQGibV_XiHhw/videos

      Thank you. Cheers :)

    1. Thank you Amery. Well its my old YouTube channel which I had discontinued. I started a fresh channel "The Linux Channel" and covered this topic in a fresh mode with live demo. Here is the new video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1twNsZojgI

Moreover this new channel is a casual tech channel but more focused about Linux, Open-Source, etc.. but anything primarily about tech. Perhaps you can find more useful videos: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCESk3ORdKJ1iQGibV_XiHhw/videos

      Have a nice day :)
